The most commonly asked questions I receive since we have started loving the Lovevery Subscription Play Kits:
Are they Worth it?
If you break down the amount designated months for each box, plus the cost of the 3 box bundle? You are actually paying for 9 months worth of toys for your child/toddler!
Montessori Play Kits for all the Baby and Toddler milestones!
Now that we are set for Nora, we will begin looking into boxes for baby!
Toys that Teach
Since receiving our first play kit in October and Nora being completely obsessed, we knew these were 100% worth it!
Finding toys that she loves, and also that mama loves is hard.
Most toys we have for Nora are made of plastic and play some sort of loud noise… and take batteries.
Therefore- I am so thankful to have my girl enjoying new teaching toys! Especially those that are encouraging her hand eye coordination, her dexterity and furthering to strengthen her fine motor skills!!
Without the Noise!
We have enjoyed the Pioneer Play Kit (Months 16-18) so much that we’ve taken our time in opening the next! Nora will be 21 months this week, and we are gifting the Realist Play Kit (Months 19-21) for her big Christmas present! I was unsure of starting her on the box for 16-18 Months when she was 19 months but I am so glad we did. Looking on the Lovevery website and seeing what box is dedicated to depending on milestones and developments is so incredibly helpful. Especially when deciding where to start! Plus taking the 3 months of play, to work on and develop the skill sets has been so great for her. She was unable to place the cars on the track when our box first arrived. But has since had time to practice and grow with the toys to teach her skills where she was struggling!
Linked above: our first review of Lovevery over on the ‘Gram! The peg board was Nora’s first mastered skillset from this box with the stacking and separating by color!
From watching her the past few months, her favorite from the Pioneer Play Kit is the bug jar. There are 6 little velcro bugs that adhere to the felt covered jar. Nora has taken quite the fancy to the little bug friends!
Play Kits Overall-
The initial sticker shock over the toys is there. I do not deny that whatsoever, who would want to spend $120+ on a single subscription box of toys??
I also had the same thought when I first was introduced to the Play Kits months ago! There was no way it was worth it for just some toys.
Finally, after looking through everything again a few months later I came to better understand. Lovevery has broken down the kits to be the most affordable they can be for the quality of toy!!
One single purchased box is around $120 which is designated for a 3 month period of play and growth!
Subscribing for the 3 box, sets the price tag around $230. Where you’re getting 9 months worth of play that equals less than $40 a month in toys.
There are other subscription bundles available for 6 boxes and so on!
So let me ask you this: Who takes their kiddos to the grocery store and they beg and plead for the dreaded walk through the toy aisle?? How much are you spending on those trips every month?
Knowing we are encouraging her in the best way to achieve her growth and development milestones by providing toys and activities that do just that is enough reasoning for me!
Additionally, we have another sweet babe on the way and having these available when he gets to these stages will end up saving us in the long run!
Who doesn’t love hand-me-downs?
Between the simplicity of ordering, and knowing when our subscription will process I am always shocked at how quickly the boxes arrive!!
Luckily Nora is still young and we haven’t had to deal with hiding the presents yet! But I think next year we will have to start getting creative when it comes to where we are keeping all the things from her grabby little hands!
Should you decide to subscribe to the Play Kits- please tag me or send me a message! There’s nothing better than seeing your kiddos loving these toys as much as mine does! The anticipation is real- I can’t wait to see her cutie little face light up opening her next box!
I was able to find a discount code that offers free shipping and will attach that below for you!
I hope you and your littles have the best Christmas ever- this year has been crazy and everyone deserves to enjoy themselves a little extra these days!
