Raising a toddler while also caring for a newborn has shown its hardships in ways I wasn’t expecting- such as the toddler losing interest in toys and activities quicker.  Cue the Mom Guilt. Cue the tears. I am not sure if this is because she is worried about losing my attention, or if it’s a competition between her and the baby! I have tried my best at finding the toys and activities to keep my toddler’s mind occupied. Whatever will keep her mind growing and learning- is easy enough to hold her attention while also challenging enough for her to continue to try to master the task…

NO one told me that motherhood consisted of so much time “playing” seriously.

Does anyone else majorly have to remind themselves to sit down and to do their best to enjoy play time?

Once you get in your routine for the day- you will find it easier to keep going. Maybe I am the only one- but scheduling our one on one play time is important! I know its important to her- and it reminds me to slow down and get on her level at least once per day!

If you are like me, and you really have to work to ENJOY the playtime, I personally, as the mom enjoy the Lovevery Kits the most! Seriously, they have been an incredible addition to our playing and learning on a daily basis!
